Atacama
March 25, 2015
Here’s a few photos from a week I’ve spent on the Atacama desert trying to climb Ojos del Salado (6893m).
Funny thing, I didn’t take a single photo of the mountain. To get to the Base Camp, where you can actually se it, you need to walk ~50 km through a desert and climb up to 5800m. By the time I got there, I was so tired that no thoughts about photographing even crossed my mind. It was just walk, put up a tent, sleep, pack the tent and walk again. And drink whenever possible.
I’ll make up for it another time.
