Etna

The first night we spent on Sicilly was right at the base of Mount Etna. Even though it’s a heavily visited place with a lot of tourist infrastructure (that spoils the experience), it’s still a completely different mountain experience from what we’re used to.

When we climbed part of the way up the mountain and passed the level of clouds, it looked like we’re on another planet. Especially with all the vehicles prepared to take tourists as high up the mountain as possible.

On the way down, we also experienced some crazy out-of-this-world vehicle doing laps on the parking lot.
