Chamonix

A few photos from an October trip to Chamonix. Things I’ve learnt:

• everything is closed in October
• weather is not stable anymore
• Alps are beautiful when there are few people around
• my new camera with a pancake wide lens is great for mountain trips

In the end we had to let go of all the plans that we had. We ended up spending one day trekking with heavy packs. Another with a one-day climb of Pointe Lachenale and the third day of mountain activity was multi-pitch sport climbing in Verdon gorge.
